The SMCmms, Motion Monitoring System is a tool to analyze, monitor and log motion sensor data onboard marine vessels.
The SMCmms interfaces with the SMC IMU motion sensors. The data is presented in real time both numerical and graphical.
The system displayed information includes Roll, Pitch, Heave, Heave Rate and Accelerations.
All received data is logged into the system log file. The logged data can be replayed from the system log file, viewed in the log file display tool or exported to a comma separated text file (csv) for analysis in any external software like Microsoft Excel.
The SMCmms do have user defined alarm limits for all displayed and logged data. The alarms are stored into an event database and are also optionally displayed in the screen.
A standard feature in the SMCmms is the client web interface. When the system is connected to Internet/LAN the graphical information can be viewed from any PC in the network through Microsoft Internet Explorer.
